PLEASE SHOWER THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE TREATED AREA WET OR SOAKED FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS FOLLOWING YOUR PROCEDURE.
DO NOT WORK OUT THE DAY OF YOUR PROCEDURE
ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol, caffeinated food or beverage (yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee, tea, chocolate, etc.), supplements, vitamin-e, Vitamin C serums, stimulants, anti-inflammatory/steroid meds and/or any other medications that act as blood-thinners MUST be avoided 48 hours prior to your appointment. Tylenol is OK.
If you are on blood thinning medication for previous or current conditions, please let us know immediately and kindly consult your physician regarding the best course of action prior to re-booking your appointment. The above mentioned can cause excessive bleeding during the tattooing procedure and will reduce the amount of pigment implantation & retention, can potentially alter your pigment colour and risk poor & delayed healing which can also risk scarring.
Discontinue Retin-A, Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) at least 6 weeks prior. We strongly recommend consulting a professional (dermatologist) to assess the condition of your skin prior to your appointment.
Discontinue hair growth serums 6 weeks prior to your appointment. We strongly recommend consulting a professional (dermatologist) to assess the condition of your skin prior to your appointment.
Do not tweeze, wax, laser, electrolysis or any other hair removal in the bulk of the brow 1 week prior to your appointment.
Do not tint or henna your brows 6 weeks prior to your appointment.
Avoid heavy sunlight, tanning and sunburnt skin 2 weeks prior to your appointment as your skin should not be healing from the above prior to your appointment.
Avoid any type of facials, chemical peels, derma-planing, microdermabrasion, micro needling, etc, 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Avoid any Botox anywhere around the treatment area 2-4 weeks prior to your appointment as it can alter the end results of your procedure. It is best to have the face at rest for your initial appointment to get the best results.
Terms & Policies
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
All bookings will be secured after a mandatory, non-refundable deposit is received within 48 hours of booking. This deposit will be deducted from your end $ total the day of your appointment. Deposit amounts vary on chosen service. If you have not sent your deposit within the allotted time frame, your appointment will be cancelled without notice and that date/time will be back up for the public.
All clients are required to input Credit Card information to confirm their appointment into the secure booking system; this is to avoid No-Show & No-notice reschedule/cancellation clients. Failure to do so will result in your appointment being cancelled without notice.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
CONSULTATIONS
A deposit is NOT required for consultations; however, a $50 non-refundable fee is due at the end of your consult appointment. Upon booking your full service appointment, the $50 fee will be deducted from your end $ total at the end of your appointment. Should you decide you do not want to move forward with a full service appointment after your consult, the fee (as mentioned) is non refundable.
LATE TO APPOINTMENT
Please note that if you are 15+ minutes late to your appointment, you will be required to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged a $50 late fee. We respect your time and we expect the same courtesy. Appointments will not be rushed due to the negligence of others.
NO SHOWS
NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, your deposit will be forfeited, you will be charged the remaining balance of your service price and you will not be able to rebook your appointment.
RESCHEDULING
48 hour notice is required to reschedule your appointment. If you have booked your appointment during a PROMO or SALE and you need to reschedule, the promo/sale no longer applies. NO EXCEPTIONS.
CANCELLATIONS
48 hour cancellation notice is required for all bookings. If you do not provide 48 hour cancellation notice, you will be charged 50% of your service total . If you choose to rebook, you will be required to pay a rebooking fee of $50 along with the remaining balance owing prior to confirming your appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS.
COVER UP & CORRECTIVE WORK
If you have had previous work done by another artist elsewhere, you are required to book a consultation prior to booking a full service appointment to ensure the previous work is assessed and the best course of action can be planned to provide the best results. Full cost of method chosen will apply + an additional fee will apply on top of the services total.
TOUCH UP APPOINTMENTS
Please note: if you are looking to book a “touch up” appointment with Brittany and you have had your previous work done elsewhere, the full cost of method chosen will apply for your initial appointment with Brittany. Thereafter, touch up rates will apply moving forward. All recurring clients of Moody Brows will be required to pay full price after the 18 month mark.
